ABS Sensors go bad for various reasons and will cause your ABS light to go on. You could have a dirty sensor tip. It is magnetic and picks up metal shavings which can cause the light to come on. You can also get a dirty ABS Sensor Ring which can cause the light to go on. Cleaning both of these issues can fix your problem and cause the light to go off. You may also have a bad sensor. If your ABS Light comes on you can take your car or truck to a mechanic or select parts store and have their computer read that ABS issue and it will tell you where the problem is coming from. This Video will show the the simple steps to take to remedy ABS issues related to the Sensor and Sensor Ring.
