In this video, I put We Buy Any Car (WBAC), Motorway, and CarWow head-to-head against a private sale to see which one offers the most money and the least hassle. Was it worth dealing with private buyers, or did one of the online services come out on top? If you're thinking of selling your car, watch this before you do! I'll break down the offers, the process, and the hidden fees so you know exactly what to expect. By the way, since this video went live CarWow have confirmed the following to me : The final reserve price is completely up to the seller. We give a guide price. One that we think is achievable, based on our assessment of the car. But it isn’t something we insist on, the seller can take our advice or go with their desired price. The other point is that the sale isn’t agreed when the reserve is met. You have the right to cancel all the way up to the point they take the car away. It is essentially an agreement in principle. The dealer then comes out to check the car over, making sure there are no undeclared mechanical or cosmetic issues.
