Faculty: @RaviAluganti This lesson is about a boy Santhosh who visits his grandparent’s village Ramapuram, during vacations. Santhosh describes in his diary about his experiences, the things he saw and what he did at the village. Day 1: He is very excited to meet his grandparents and cousins. He packs his bag for the travel. Day 2: Santhosh travels to the village by bus, he gets a window seat. He sees the trees with yellow flowers on either side of the road. He sees the lush green paddy fields and the scarecrows. He likes the peace and fresh air of the village. Santhosh’s grandparents are delighted to see him. There are many trees around the house, Santhosh tasted the first mango of the season. Day 3: He woke up early in the morning and goes for a walk. He feels the morning cool breeze. He sees coconut trees swaying in the gentle wind. He finds his grandfather working with other farmers in the fields. He listens to the birds sweet singing. On reaching home he freshens up and has a delicious breakfast. His neighbouring girl Pallavi comes and they play together for a while. She shows him how to play with an old tyre. Then she takes Santhosh to show him the village. They meet Pallavi’s friends in the village. Day 4: Santhosh’s mother and aunt took him to the canal for a bath. He did not know how to swim but he enjoyed splashing in the water and watching children swim like fish! He saw some boys climbing the tamarind tree and girls playing hide and seek near the banyan tree. The children enjoyed themselves, talked and laughed while drying their wet hair. Santhosh sat on a rock watching the clean water in the canal, he could clearly see the pebbles and fish in the water. Day 5: This was the last day of Santhosh’s trip. He returned back to his home in the city. The three days of his stay in the village passed off so fast. He realised that in those three days he never thought of watching TV nor play video games. He is eagerly waiting for the next visit to the village. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ↓ Topic marks🔖 00:00 | Intro 00:14 | Activity 1 03:12 | Reading 14:32 | Glossary 16:10 | Activity 2 / Comprehension 19:26 | Activity 3 / Vocabulary 23:30 | Activity 4 24:28 | Activity 5 / Grammar 28:02 | Activity 6 34:58 |Activity 7 Writing 37:44 | Activity 8 40:51 | Activity 9 / Listening and Responding 43:38 |POEM / Written in March 45:34 | Glossary 46:38 | Activity 10 49:22 | Activity 11 / Project Work Blossoms 5 📓 Free 🎁 Clickable pdf link 🔗 for English: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XRsE...
