Our chickens were well overdue for a coop upgrade! Our original coop was made from recycled pallets & PVC pipe. It took a beating after being shuffled around the yard a few times was no longer square, held together by cable times & just not that pretty. Using recycled decking timber, fence sheets & wire mesh from their old coop it took us a few days to build a low maintenance coop & run. We spent a total of $50 on the wood chips & the aluminum sign. All in all, both the chickens & us love the new coop. ...........................................................................
