While walking through the streets of Hanoi looking for a regular barbershop, I came across a street barber with a small queue of locals waiting for a cut. That’s usually a good sign, so I decided to give it a try. In just around 10 minutes, he gave me a full clipper and scissor haircut followed by a clean clipper shave. Street barbering is still a common sight in Vietnam, where skilled barbers set up simple chairs and tools along the pavement and serve locals throughout the day, although this would be my first time trying.
