I made this video primarily to showcase an optimal ship upgrade path. By doing many attempts I was able to record RNG that would be otherwise impossible. This was not easy though, Some of the segments in This Tyro Captain took several thousand resets each, for example the 10 Metal segment at 1:04:42 and the 13 Metal segment at 1:03:22. This allowed me to save some significant time early in the run by skipping a ship fight in Raise the Black Flag and having the second mortar upgrade early makes every fort and naval mission faster. Another reason for wanting to make this run was to showcase all the known Rip Skips in the game, see timetamps below. Due to how precise some of the Rip Skips are, there will probably never be an RTA spedrun with all of them. There is a small audio desync due to the way I was recording segments at a certain point.
