Featuring new intro! For perfect chicken fingers, try my Ukrainian great-grandmother's recipe! Every Masterchef needs to know how to make a picky eater's favourite: chicken fingers! These are mouth wateringly delicious!! Better than KFC and Popeyes! INGREDIENTS 4 chicken breasts, cut into pieces 3 eggs + 2 Tbsp water 1 cup flour 3 cups (1 container that is usually 227g) bread crumbs or Panko crumbs Oil and butter for frying SPICE MIX 2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp chicken stock 1 tsp parsley 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp seasoned salt ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp Herbes de Provence (or marjoram or basil or thyme) ¼ tsp pepper DIRECTIONS 1. Tenderize your chicken. Beat chicken a few times so that each piece is flat and even. We use a rolling pin and put the chicken into a bag first, to keep the rolling pin and cutting board clean. 2. Stir your spice mix, sprinkle lightly onto chicken (both sides). There should be some spice mix left over. 3. Stir leftover spice mix into bowl of bread crumbs, set aside. 4. Sprinkle flour onto chicken (both sides). 5. Mix water and eggs in a small bowl or shallow dish. 6. Using forks, dip flour covered chicken one piece at a time into eggs, then immediately into bread crumbs until coated. 7. Preheat frying pan with oil and butter. 8. On medium heat, fry chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. 9. Chicken is ready to eat when white inside. If pink, fry more. 10. Serve and enjoy. Delicious hot or cold!
