So, rewind a few months, I had built the latest version of my pedalboard which I thought was the utter pinnacle of creative pedaling. Lots of sections that acheived special tasks, but at its heart was a 4-pedal ection that I relied upon for multiple purposes. It comprised of the Cooper FX Signal Path Selector, with the EHX Pico Deep Freeze, set fully wet, running into the Fjord LOKE on one side, and the Pladask Elektrisk Baklengs on the other side performing glitchy sampling and under-clocked sounds. I was pretty proud... Then along comes Onward... basically that whole, painstakingly crafted section of my pedalboard was introduced to me again in a sleek new skin, with way more features, and all the staple Chase Bliss Audio functionality. I had to have it! I promptly swept that section off the board to make way for this beauty (and a few more pedals now I'd gained some real estate!). Then I was blessed by the pedal gods when Scott from CBA asked me to create a video with Onward, which brings us to now. I'm a little late getting it out, but that's all for good reason. We've been selling lots of Onwards through Pedal Empire, and we just had a couple of sensational Pedal Parties with Joel from CBA and a gang of excellent Aussie builders. In retrospect I'm glad my demo is dropping now as it feels like a nice salute to the past few weeks of Chase Bliss adventure! Enjoy!
