She is envisioned as dwelling in the chest of Mahāviṣṇu, born of the milk ocean, and worshipped by Sarasvatī, Rati, and Indrāni. Seated in the hearts of the devoted and extolled by the Devas led by Brahma, she is praised as Mādhava Manohari—the one who captivates the heart of Vishnu himself. Set in the rare rāga Mādhava Manohari, the composition beautifully reflects this imagery.
