END THE SILENCE - An Awareness shortfilm on Endometriosis and painful periods by Dr Vimee Bindra

Endometriosis - call it an ENIGMA or a PUZZLE it’s leaving our women with pain and suffering. 1 in 10 women are suffering globally with endometriosis and still some women in different parts of the world believe pain during periods is normal. If a woman suffers from pain even for four days a month, she is spending her one and half month of a year in pain. IS THIS NORMAL ? This is not normal and there is something wrong and it could be due to endometriosis. Women are not meant to suffer. This short film by Dr Vimee Bindra is an attempt to create awareness for this disorder and empower our women to lead a pain free and quality life. Endometriosis can be treated by laparoscopic excision surgery (LAPEX) and in case you are undergoing surgery for endometriosis it is advisable to look for a good excision specialist so you get a good disease free interval and function like a normal woman.
