In this last part, I will continue to explain how the Awasá used to dance. And I will show some film fragments I have made of the Awasá dance over the years. I hope that the contemporary Maroons, especially those who are serious about Awasá dance, will learn something from the video documentary series to improve themselves. That they will realise that the Awasá music, dance and song genre is an interactive game between drummers, dancers and singers. That as a dancer you do not just walk into the dance circle and start dancing. You dance according to what the main drummer tells you through the drum. In dit laatste deel leg ik verder uit hoe de Awasá vroeger gedanst werd. En ik laat enkele filmfragmenten zien die ik in de loop der jaren van de Awasá-dans heb gemaakt. Ik hoop dat de hedendaagse Marrons, vooral degenen die serieus met de Awasá-dans bezig zijn, iets van de videodocumentaireserie leren om zichzelf te verbeteren. Dat ze zich realiseren dat het Awasá muziek-, dans- en zanggenre een interactief spel is tussen drummers, dansers en zangers. Dat je als danser niet zomaar de danscirkel binnenloopt en begint te dansen. Je danst volgens wat de hoofddrummer je opdraagt via de drum.
