In this video we begin in a typical, nice Cottonwood Heights neighborhood - very close to where I grew up actually, I still know people in this neighborhood. Cottonwood Heights is pretty much built out, so where there's new construction it's usually because something was torn down and the lot is now being used for something new. There are some older homes (1950's builds) but most of Cottonwood Heights is decently updated as far as homes are concerned. This city has some great parks, great retail, high-end business office spaces, and iconic restaurants. The nickname of the city is "City between the Canyons" because it hugs the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley and is bordered on the north by Big Cottonwood Canyon, and on the south by Little Cottonwood Canyon. Guess where most of Utah's famous ski resorts are? That's right, up both of these canyons - so if you're in Utah for the amazing outdoor lifestyle that people come here for from around the world, it's difficult to beat the idea of planting your house down right here. Cottonwood Heights is fairly small as far as geographic boundaries go, so the Canyons School District encompasses the city, and the city only has 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school - all of which are graded well on these websites: https://reportcard.schools.utah.gov/ https://www.niche.com/ If you're interested in learning about a city that you don't see I've made a video for yet, just let me know in the comments and I'll be happy to make that video next - not to mention responding to you directly in the comments, of course. And of course, if you're interested in moving to Utah or are already here and looking to move within the Salt Lake, Davis, or Utah counties, let's have a conversation! I want to hear all your questions, especially the hard ones. I want you to be as educated as possible in your decision making about your move. I know the Utah housing market in detail, and I'll be happy to represent you, make sure you always know what's going on, and make your move as stress-free as it can be made :)
