Fascia. If you’ve ever had any type of soft tissue injury (or overuse) your fascia was involved. For something the permeates every part of the human body, and is the largest and fastest network signaling system it’s been only in recent years that fascia has really been studied in depth. In fact, fascia has been a very misunderstood phenomenon of the human body. Scientists didn’t really have an understanding of what fascia was because they couldn’t actually find it when dissecting bodies. That’s because the bodies had been prepared in formaldehyde and it dissolved the fascia. And yet, in surgeries they would see the white stringy material everywhere.
