Recognizing this, Sightsavers, in partnership with Standard Chartered, launched Futuremakers, an ambitious initiative designed to bridge the gap. This program equips Youth With Disabilities with vital skills for the evolving job market, fosters a network of inclusive employers , and transforms recruitment practices and workplace environments. WhiteRice crafted a documentary to showcase the inspiring journeys of young jobseekers who found employment through this program, highlighting their struggles, the empowering role of Sightsavers in the private sector, and the contributions of various stakeholders.
