Hey y'all, Here is an in depth video on how to replace and repair a broken SPST footswitch on a Strymon pedal, specifically a Volante as used in this video. It's really not hard at all. All tools you should need is a 9/16 (or 17/32 or 14mm) wrench, a P2 phillips screwdriver (P1 will work but is not ideal) and a pair of needle nose pliers. I used masking tape on the wrench to protect the pedal from any rough edges and grime that the wrench could have from it's past. Works with all TimeLine, Mobius, and BigSky pedals. Also works with all other Strymon pedals built after May 2012 with a serial number higher than S12-50000. Includes nuts and washers. Does NOT work with OB.1 compressor. The switches on our pedals are designed to be easily replaced and there is no soldering required. You just need to remove the 4 bottom screws to access the electronics, slide off the cable header from the original switch to the circuit board, remove the switch from the metal chassis (14mm deep socket), and swap with the new replacement."
