This video shows 24 hours inside the large planted aquarium of Bosvilla Witte Raaf. The aquarium is 4.5 meters wide and holds around 1000 liters of water, creating a long panoramic underwater landscape inside the house. Over the course of a full day the lighting slowly changes to simulate a natural day–night rhythm. Inside this living ecosystem live around 250 fish, shrimp and snails. Schools of colorful fish move through dense aquatic plants while bottom dwellers and shrimp quietly clean the aquarium. The community includes species such as angelfish, cardinal tetras, harlequin rasboras, glass catfish, Corydoras, Otocinclus and hillstream loaches, together with Amano shrimp and Nerite snails that help maintain the balance of the tank. The aquarium is designed as a calm living artwork inside the wooden interior of the house — a quiet window into a miniature underwater world.
