Lavanya, a young engineering graduate, never thought her life would take a such a drastic turn following her father's death. Unable to carry on with her father's business, the family slipped in to heavy debt. With a young brother and a widowed mother, she faced all kinds of financial and emotional problems at a tender age, not knowing what to do next. Seeking spiritual help, she visited a faraway famous hindu temple for solace and also consulted the astrologers available there to find an escape route from the ever mounting problems. At this juncture, she encountered the love of Jesus Christ and thereafter began to attend church regularly. Then on, she found peace of mind and solutions to her family problem, one by one. A plot of land that could not be sold off for many years, was traded for a handsome profit and a personal loan of a huge sum that was very difficult to recover, suddenly was repaid by the borrower. Lavanya attributes these miracles to her accepting Jesus Christ and by praying to Him. Now, Lavanya has devoted her life to the services of God and is working with Jesus Calls Ministries at the Bethesda International Prayer Tower, Coimbatore. God has changed Lavanya, once an aggressive and arrogant person, into a forgiving, loving, caring and praying Christian.
