Walt Disney World Vacation April 2015 | It's Stephie's 30th & Wild Africa Trek | Episode 9

Our Walt Disney world vacation 2015 continues! It's Stephie's 30th Birthday!! So we spend the day at Disney's animal kingdom which is her favourite park. but the first thing to get is of course Stephie's birthday Mickey/Minnie ears and we go through a few different ones to see if she looks good with them on. We move on to Stephie's birthday present, Dave booked the African wild trek which is a behind the scenes of the Kilimanjaro safari and a closer look at some of the animals you see in the safari. You also get to walk across the bridge that you see on Kilimanjaro safari, afterwards we go on our own private truck that takes you round the main safari where the giraffes to antelopes are located. We stop off for food which is located at the top of the harambe reserve near where the elephants and flamingos are this is where we also get food which is amazing and you get mango juice as your drink. We are then given binoculars and told to walk round and see the animals a little closer, we see rhinos to lions even a great view of the elephants. At the end of the trek we are all given a pebble and told that for the price of our trek we can choose which animal the money can go to so the Disney conservation fund can focus the money on that animal, our choices were elephants, rhinos, lions and giraffes. So Stephie picked the Rhinos and Dave chose the Giraffe we also get pictures included on our experience which the cast members take throughout the trek, you also get a free drinks container and a Disney conservation pin which is awesome. After all that trekking we get a lion cub cupcake and we try the brownie paw as we were told that it was amazing and they were not wrong. these are located near the Kilimanjaro safari so check it out. We then go and see Donald and get another signature on our backpack and cheeky Donald wants to be our number 1 and he always will be after meting him that day.
