Cosby claims he wasn't going to testify anyway, as the deposition focused on three murders about which he knew nothing. He adds that the authorities' primary interest was him cooperating against Blanco for these homicides. Despite admitting to drug dealing, Cosby was never charged due to what he suggests was the specific murder-focused aim of the investigators. He argues that they sought only corroboration of other parties' testimonies about the killings.
