The climb from Matucana to San Mateo is one of the most scenic parts of the line (its all spectacular though!) with 14 tunnels, 1 tall steel viaduct and two switchbacks in the span of just 20 Kilometers. The grades average 4% for much of this segment and the locomotive is working hard, plenty of great FDL sounds! This is truly one of the most spectacular lines in the world and I think you will agree after watching this! Part 3 coming soon!
