(The last C151 Full Journey for the channel) Train model: Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151 Trainset: 015/016 Line: North South Line Stretch rode: (5) NS28 Marina South Pier to NS1EW24 Jurong East (4) Terminus: (4) NS1EW24 Jurong East - Platform A (Filmed on - 12 August 2025, Tuesday) Upon it's re-entrance to NSL the previous day, I had planned to do another one last full journey for the outgoing fleet before their extinction by 28th September after 085/086 version last Thursday. This Monday didn't turned well due to it's suspicious withdrawal at Marina South Pier around 9.15am, but the screen didn't display as 'out of bounds' train so I boarded since it was open, but was told from the staff in the train that it was not in service, and was frightened a bit (still blame them tho, especially for not setting it as Do Not Board). Thankfully it turned around the following day, as it deployed on the right slot that was not Ang Mo Kio or Yishun bound, thus allowed me to finally film a proper full journey successfully and concluding my KHI Full Journey when the doors opened at Jurong East upon it's withdrawal. 015/016 holds a significant history to our rail network as it is the first ever KHI train to debut in November 1987 and it's amazing that this legend managed to stay operational until 12th September 2025 and through the testing at East Coast Integrated Depot from mid-September 2025 to 2nd January 2026 while it has served NSL 4 rounds in 2025. This train and 085/086 have been decommissioned from service with their tests conducted at East Coast Integrated Depot since 14th September, and 085/086 transferred to Tuas Depot on 3rd January 2026, while this train now at Bishan Depot likely to be preserved. Good that I have managed to film full journeys for both trains before their extinction from NSL on 09 September.
