Earl Laamanen, TerraSim's Technical Director, and Pete Morrison, BISim's Chief Commercial Officer, present an introduction to BISim's World Server Technology. The World Server technology is designed from first principles to leverage cutting-edge networking, cloud deployment, procedural enhancement capabilities, and is built on open standards to facilitate easy enhancement with future technology advancements. We call it a technology, not a product, because it offers a foundation for our COTS products (VBS World Server and, in the future, a version of TerraTools) but also can be a starting point for a fully customized terrain serving and storage solution.
