In this video I compare footage shot handheld versus footage shot using the Zhiyun Crane 2S gimbal to see how big of a difference using a gimbal really makes. I also cover some of my favorite things about the Zhiyun Crane 2S, as well as some tips to get smoother footage. Gimbals aren't the best tool for every job, but they are very versatile. I tried five different types of camera moves to see when a gimbal might be a good option, including side to side slider shots, basic pan and tilt moves, faux crane shots, orbiting or parallax shots, and following shots.
