With the help of the P47s respectable turn and roll capabilities this lends the aircraft to a playstyle that favors looping & rolling scissors. The main things to perfect if following this style of dogfighting is knowing how to angle your aircraft's direction according to the enemy and throttle control. Once you become experienced in the timing and angle of turns you will completely dictate how the enemy aircraft maneuvers. It must also be said that the P47 has respectable stall characteristics. This includes stall speed, control at low speed and general unlikelyness of wing stalling if flying the aircraft properly. The aircraft is relatively fast at all altitudes, and should be the fastest at medium altitude on most occasions.
