As a teenager, he hit the weights hard, fully captivated by the sport. His dedication paid off in 1992 when he stepped on stage for the first time—and dominated—winning the Teenage Mr. America title while still in high school. Branch Warren’s rise to the top wasn’t easy—it was built on pure grit and nonstop hard work. His unshakable dedication pushed him to the highest levels of bodybuilding, earning him respect, titles, and a loyal fan base along the way. Known for his intense training style and unstoppable mindset, he never backed down from a challenge. Warren gave it his all, proving that success comes to those who refuse to quit. Video At 49 years old, Branch Warren stands at 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm), Weighing in at a massive 245 pounds (111 kg) of pure muscle. Talking about Warren’s leg strength he is on another level, pushing insane amounts of weight with raw power and relentless intensity. Branch Warren is known for his insane leg strength, squatting as much as 700 pounds. He kicks off his leg workout with three brutal 100-rep sets of leg extensions after warming up with three to five lighter sets. “This warms up my knees, floods the muscles with blood, and works both fast- and slow-twitch fibers to build size and definition,” he explains. Using the heaviest weight possible for 20-30 reps, he then drops the weight and keeps going until he hits another 20 reps. Next up in Warren’s leg routine is the front squat, a movement that shifts more focus to the quads while reducing stress on the spine. After that, he moves on to heavy leg presses, where his quads take the lead, but his hamstrings and glutes get hammered—especially as he pushes toward the grueling 50-rep mark. Video Branch Warren’s bodybuilding career was packed with impressive achievements, proving his dominance in the sport. He won the Arnold Classic twice, back-to-back in 2011 and 2012, solidifying his reputation as one of the best. He was also a consistent top contender at Mr. Olympia, placing second in 2009, narrowly missing the top spot against the best in the world. Throughout his career, Warren claimed victories in several IFBB Pro shows, including the 2011 British Grand Prix and the 2012 Australian Grand Prix. His journey started strong when he won the 1992 Teenage Mr. America title, and he continued to impress by taking first place at the 2001 NPC Nationals, earning his pro card. With his unmatched intensity and never-quit attitude, Warren built a legacy of strength, determination, and pure grit in the bodybuilding world. Vide Looking into his massive physique with a diet packed with protein and clean carbs. On an average day, he consumes a whopping 500 grams of protein, roughly 2 grams per pound of body weight, to keep his muscles growing. During his bulking phase, he adds 400 grams of carbs to power through his brutal workouts. While he doesn’t go heavy on fats, most of his intake comes from high-protein sources like beef steak. His daily meals include two to three pounds of chicken, switching between different cuts in the off-season but sticking strictly to lean chicken breast when prepping for a contest. To round out his nutrition, Warren regularly eats 10-20 egg whites, fish, whole-wheat pasta, and potatoes, ensuring his body gets the fuel it needs to stay massive and shredded.
