We are your typical blended family with kids (Louise has one daughter (Megan 12) and Mark has four children (Georgia 23, Harry 20, Henry 15 & Lewis 14)), two dogs, a mortgage, work and close-knit family and friends. We, as with many families, had been hit hard by the Covid pandemic during 2020/21 and following a Stage 3 Prostate Cancer diagnosis for Mark in early 2021 we decided it was time for a change and to start experiencing life through a different lens. We decided to start sharing our journey of travel, experiences and daily life with our followers. We wanted to show that it can be done, to give the confidence to others who are thinking about taking the plunge into travelling with their families whilst maintaining education, work and family commitments. We are your normal every day (hence the channel name!) family that had been given that kick to get out there and relish what the world has to offer.
