Haleakala National Park Maui Day Trip | Family Adventure Up the Volcano (coffee included)

A trip to Maui isn’t complete without visiting Haleakala National Park. We haven’t gone since we moved to Maui, but that all changed with this epic family trip up Haleakala volcano. Our adventure this week on Maui was a drive up to #Haleakala National Park. We stopped at our favorite Upcountry town of Makawao first for coffee and Komoda malasadas (donuts). Then we stretched our legs and got some culture at the beautiful Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center right outside of Makawao. Then up to Haleakala National Park to fight the freezing cold #Maui weather! Bring your jackets! This was our perfect family day out with our toddler Henry to Haleakala National Park. We use and enjoy the Shaka Guide tours.
