Filmed at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire on May 6th 2015. Manufactured by Italian company Automatic Toys Modena, I believe this horse was released in the 1970s. Curiously, the name on the saddle reads "Cogan" (which is the name of another Italian ride manufacturer). This mould would later be used for Falgas's Derby Horse, a far more popular and well known ride...however, on the Falgas version, the word was changed to "Derby"! If anybody has further information about this ride, please let me know. I am currently working on a website about coin operated rides, particularly those made (or at least commonly distributed) in the UK during the 1950s-90s. Please visit http://www.coinoperatedrides.weebly.com! If anybody has old photos/video footage that they wouldn't mind sharing with me, please e-mail me at [email protected] or leave a comment below. I would be eternally grateful. Thank you! :)
