The hotel is likely an area we could’ve visited as soon as we arrived in Panama City, though without a plot reason to do so we’d mostly be there just to loot everything we could find. Granted, that’s what we’re doing anyway, but we at least have a reason to be here other than gaining experience and lining our trouser pockets of infinite size with more credits, alcohol, medication and weapon power-ups that I’m not ever likely to get round to using. I thought that I’d have to ration what healing items I could find but nope, the game’s quite happy to put so many in my path that I honestly don’t know what to do with them all… aside from hoard them and never use them, that is. We need to get to the penthouse suite so that we can warn the WHO representative of the dangers of the medication that’s flooding the streets of the city, killing many people desperate enough to try anything to alleviate the symptoms of DDS. They’ll be able to warn the WHO of what’s happening and stop things from progressing; if that medication gets okayed for general sale, who knows how many more people will die in the ruthless pursuit of profit? Doing this has its risks of course, as Ben might get uncovered by the Tyrants for his efforts, but it’ll be worth it if we can make a difference and save some lives.
