It features beautiful alpine lakes, meadows, glaciers, snow-capped mountains and a sea of peaks from the Sawback Range and the Canadian Rockies. Peaks in this area have unique features of near-vertical sedimentary rocks carved by glaciers. It has many trails and could be done in many ways: as point-to-point, or as a loop. We did a six-day backpacking from Johnston Creek Trailhead (accessed via Moose Meadows Parking Lot) to Larry's Camp, Mystic Pass and Lake, Block Lakes Junction, Badger Pass, Luellen Lake and looped back to Johnson Creek Trailhead Below are the chapters in the video and our itinerary. 0:00 Introduction 0:50 Day 1: Johnston Creek Trailhead to Larry's Camp Distance: 8.4 km; Elevation Gain: 280 m.
