People may sometime abandon their unwanted pets at a temple or worse in a jungle here in Thailand, but Livana was left on a small island that was uninhabited with no idea of how to fend for themselves. Luckily they were spotted by National Park officers and alerted us to Livana and her friend who were scared and confused. Livana was rescued and brought to Soi Dog and before long she was also ready to leave to her new home in the USA. One day she was discarded, but the next day she was much loved and cherished by a family who had never even met her. This is what your donations do. During this time of crisis, more and more animals are abandoned or left behind and we could never turn away our backs on them no matter the struggle.
