JOIN BROADCAST PLAZA TODAY, DISCORD'S MEDIA DISCUSSION COMMUNITY — http://bit.ly/S31MA Intershow break taken from in between airings of "Alive from Off Center", "New Television" and "Performance Art" on San Antonio's PBS member, KLRN. Recorded Thursday, September 12, 1991. There wasn't a whole lot on this tape to judge off of, but it appeared at this point their "logo" was simply the letters "KLRN" in Times New Roman. They would later (circa 1994-5) debut a new "blocks" logo that would ride them out until the new millennium. All of this was used interchangeably with their "Alamo-star" logo that began use in 1979 and was used up until their "oval" logo made its debut in 2000. Also, for whatever reason, there's rolling picture when switching from programming to spot breaks. That was on the station's end. 0:00 - Channel intro 0:05 - PBS network ID 0:11 - KLRN "New Television" promo 0:42 - KLRN "Austin City Limits" promo 1:11 - KLRN membership drive update/call to action promo with Pamela Williams 1:57 - KLRN Art Auction promo with Richard Conn 2:27 - KLRN legal ID 2:41 - "New Television" presenting station credit 2:46 - PBS network ID 2:51 - KLRN "Evening at Pops" promo 3:11 - KLRN "Traffik on Masterpiece Theatre" promo 3:40 - KLRN "Survival Special" promo 4:10 - KLRN Art Auction promo 4:40 - "The Civil War" award promo 5:10 - KLRN legal ID 5:14 - WTTW presenter credit 5:18 - "Performance Art" underwriter billboard (Bamana Corp.) ©1991 Alamo Public Telecommunications Council, Public Broadcasting Service, and KLRN-TV, no copyright infringement intended.
