1st June 2020, 20:15, Leith Walk, Edinburgh Well, it looks like the driving and parking is getting back to normal during Lockdown. First we have some fantastic not double, but TRIPLE parking from the drivers of N12AXM and DY07XYP. Look at all of the spaces around them, but they decided to triple park so at least one of them can lean in through their mate's window. Great social distancing there, lads. Both of them are showing as untaxed as well for bonus points. Next up, the driver of AV04NMA (probably a delivery driver) deciding that the absolute best place for them to park is in the junction, like the driver of SM19ZXP. But wait, not JUST the junction, why not block the pedestrian crossing too, to outdo the other driver? Video starts a little early to show that I don't always go to the cycle box (see next clip) if it's not worth it. Finally a classic MGIF from the driver of SL60UCJ. The light is at red and has been for several seconds, and this junction has an advance cycle light, but they still feel the need to overtake me instead of waiting. This time I DO go for the cycle box, because I know about the advance cycle light. I turned my front camera off and back on after each clip (makes them easier to edit when I copy them to my PC), but they all happened pretty much right after each other. Rear footage is unedited to show that all of this happened in the space of two and a half minutes. Got to love cycling on Leith Walk.
