Having already torn apart dancefloors the world over with “Yo MC” this new coming together of all French producers has produced another club bomb with the futuristic and energetic stylings of “Error.” Right from the off this is an upfront and firing take on modern house music. Rapid drum machines, alarm sirens, stabbing synths and a crunching bassline lead this attack on the senses, but where “Error” really comes into its own is with its ability to mix that toughness with a futuristic sense of funk. Catchy guitar licks, spacey chords and tight breaks, the likes of which littered Daft Punk’s work, come in alongside the harder-edged elements to give “Error” the perfect mix of sophistication and drive.
