After having picked up our wheels from Skillrise, the company that refurbished our 269 style original rims, I sent them to my local detailer to have them coated with a ceramic protection : Hikari Alloy Star, which provides a highly water and oil repellent coat. Then, this weekend I brought both the wheels and the car to Fast Fit, a tyre specialist and had them swapped once and for all, balanced and then aligned. The plan with our newly bought z4 is to bring her back to her former glory when it came out of the production line 14 years ago.
