Becker is an 1986 WSO Stadeli replacing an old Telecar version built in 1959. Becker currently is one of the 2 remaining fixed grip lifts at the resort, the other its sister Porcupine built the same year. Becker services mainly progression-oriented terrain with access to Middle Bowl and to Strawberry. In around 2017, the bottom loading area was upgraded with a chairkit conveyor, increasing lift speed. This lift like Porcupine does feel annoying to ride due to its length and it is common for it to slow or stop, especially where the loading conveyor comes in. In addition there are no leg rests at all, making for a discomforting ride. Becker has around a month left or so live before a Leitner-Poma High-Speed Quad takes its place next winter.
