CTA 2022 Allstate Holiday Bus/Train Sightings

Every year, the CTA rolls out their Allstate Holiday Bus and Trains as a yearly tradition where CTA employees donate for a good cause purchasing groceries and assembling food baskets to be delivered to community organizations across the city of Chicago. The Holiday Train operates on all lines on specific days and times with some days operating on two lines at the same time. The Holiday Train can easily be tracked on the train tracker, the run number of the Holiday Train will always be 1225 (excluding Yellow Line), and the train will appear on the tracker as a tree, if waiting for the Holiday Train at a station, the run number will be shown and a candy cane will be shown next to the estimated arrival time. The train operates a full 8 car set with 6 cars for boarding purposes and a flatbed that holds Santa's Slay with Santa Claus on it. The cars used are the 1981-87 2600 Series Budd Company railcars. All cars are decorated with bright lights and Christmas music is playing in both interior and exterior of the train. Note that the Holiday Train will operate as 2 cars on the Yellow Line as it can only support 2 car trains. The Holiday Bus operates on select bus routes on specific days and times. Like the Holiday Train, the bus can be tracked, the holiday bus will appear as route 4374 on the tracker, but there are times the Holiday Bus will be ghosting you while it's operating making it harder to indicate it's location. There is a tracker specifically made to the Holiday Bus but after numerous attempts of using it, it was useless. The only way to track it is using the regular bus tracker. The vehicle used as the Holiday Bus is a 2012-13 New Flyer D60LFR. The bus is also wrapped, equipped with bright lights and have Christmas music playing. Note: I didn't get everything including Pink Line or a few routes due to timing and Holiday Bus ghosting from the tracker.
