Humminbird Mega Live 2 Forward Facing Sonar Transducer - https://www.fishusa.com/Humminbird-Me... In this video, FishUSA Pro Staffer Captain Ross Robertson explains his two favorite rods for using forward facing sonar to cast at walleyes he sees on his Humminbird Mega Live 2, the G. Loomis NRX+ in the 852S JWR and the 902S JWR. The 852 is a 7'1" rod with an extra fast action tip and medium power. Ross prefers this rod when using plastics such as the Z-Man Graph ShadZ or Scented Jerk ShadZ, as the extra fast tip allows the angler to shake the bait without lifting it too much away from the fish. The 902S JWR is a 7'6" rod with a fast action and medium power. Ross prefers this model when casting a jig and a nightcrawler, as the added length aids in casting long distances without ripping the nightcrawler off the hook. This rod also loads slower, allowing the fish to get a good hold of the bait before the angler sets the hook. Find theses rods on FishUSA.com.
