In this beautiful Monday morning, going with the flow of traffic, packed with peoples going to their respective workplace to make ends meet, I was given the trust to capture one of Miri’s Unit Trust Consultant and entrepreneur Mr Joseph Orlean Jinap. One thing that he really appreciate about his way of life is the free time that he obtained. 8-5 is most people’s comfort zone, but for his case, he drive his own career. His rise and his fall depends on his effort, where he managed to get clients from Kuching, Kuala Lumpur, Miri and Kota Kinabalu, to mention a few of the places of his clients. Being an ex oil and gas personnel, he already build his reputation in his past profession before opening a new book few years back. However, that is where he realised time with family is the most important thing. If your work is taking too much of your time from family, it’s time to re-evaluate your decision to work there. We work because we want to provide a comfortable life for our family and to secure our future. By becoming a slave to the organisation, it defeats the purpose of working in the first place.
