The Special AKA - Free Nelson Mandela (Original Promo/ 12" Version) (1984) (HD) If you're a lifelong Specials fan then like me you've probably still to this very day got some strong feelings on the split of the band way back in the day. Good or bad there's no denying though that after the split this track was the best thing that came of it all... It's not often a chart song comes along that contributes to changing the world and it's history and this one is one of the handful that did just that and that's something that can't be taken away from it... Often wonder if this one would ever have came about if The Specials had never split !!! Who knows really but with all that said then there no denying this one is a classic no matter which way you may feel about what happened in the past to our favourite band of all time... Only thing I've never quite got about the video is... What's with all the "Hip Hop" & "Breakdancing" in it !!! What's that all aboot !!! :-o ReMastered, ReDubbed, Sharpened Up & extended to fir the 12" Version... enjoy... :-)
