Furyo (1988) by Jacques Bogart is a Oriental Woody. The perfumer is Ron Winnegrad. Top notes are Lavender, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Coriander, Bergamot and Green Notes Middle notes are Carnation, Cinnamon, Jasmine, Geranium and Thyme Base notes are Civet, Musk, Amber, Patchouli, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Vanilla and Honey. Perfumer: Ron Winnegrad Furyo is supposedly a term that the Yakuza in Japan used to refer to each other, not sure. This opens up strong. This is a true Beast Mode fragrance, a club banger for sure. The Mid brings in the real beauty, almost like sweet incense and animalistic musk thats not dirty like Kouros. Amazing fragrance. Beast mode too. It lasts hours (9+). The drydown is just as alluring. some say this is linear but my nose disagrees. This drydown lingers for a long time and is so so pleasant smelling. Not off putting at all. This is a solid 80's POWERHOUSE! If you like YSL Kouros, Anteus, Balenciaga Pour Hommme, even lapidus, then you will love this. It is a true powerhouse not mentioned enough.
