Sarpa Suktam | सर्प सूक्त स्तोत्र | Naag Dosh (CURE) Sarpa Suktam (Serpent hymn) from the krishna yajur veda. These mantras praise the Divine in the form of a serpent, the symbol of spiritual shakti and awakening. These mantras are good to stimulate awakening, and to protect from all sorts of bad energy, including black magic, curses, demons, dhrishti, and attacked from enemies. Sarpas are also related to the pitris (ancestors). These hymns can be offered for the benefit of the ancestors. They can be very helpful when there are problems with Rahu or Ketu in the birth chart or when Sarpa Dosha or Pitri Dosha is indicated in the birth chart. Sarpa Sukta Stotra is one of the most popular chants to get rid of Sarpa Dosha or Naga Dosha. Watch this video to know the importance of this Stotra. 1 Sarpa Suktham Stotra also called Naga Stotra is the Sanskrit serpent hymn mentioned in the Krishna Yajurveda. 2 It is a powerful prayer dedicated to the nine Hindu snake deities namely; Ananta, Vasuki, Padmanabha, Shesha, Kambala, Shankaphala, Drutharashtra, Takshaka and Kaaliya. 3 This Serpent Mantra comes in two kinds, one of which is directed towards Sarpas and the second one is for different Nakshatras called Nakshatra Suktam Mantra. 4 In the ancient Vedic Astrology, this Mantra is recommended to be recited when Sarpa Dosha or Naga Dosha is indicated in the birth chart. 5 A few Brahmin priests start this hymn with the popular Sarp Mantra that is often recited to please the Naga deities. || Om Namo Astu Sarpebhyo Ye Ke Cha Prithvi-Manu | Ye Antarikshe Ye Divi Tebhyah Sarpebhyo Namah || || Ye Dorochane Divo Ye Va Suryasya Rasmeshu | Yeshampsu Sadah Kritam Tebhyah Sarpebhyo Namah || 6 These chants are believed to be helpful to obtain relief or protection from all sorts of negative effects. 7 Here are two distinctive verses from this eleven-stanza long Sarpa Suktham Stotra; || Brahma Lokeshu Ye Sarpah Sheshanag Parogamaha | Namostute Bhyah Sapre Bhyah Supritho Ma Mam Sarvada ||1|| || Indra Lokeshu Ye Sarpah Vasuki Pramukhadyaha | Namostute Bhyah Sarpe Bhyah Supritha Ma Mam Sarvada ||2|| 8 React to this video and lets us know your thoughts in the comments.
