How much Japanese can you learn in 30 days? 🇯🇵

I spent 30 days learning Japanese to see if I could pass the JLPT N5 exam! I tried a TON of different studying methods - from various textbooks, to online tutors, to language immersion, and I found some systems that worked really well for me~ For learning hiragana and katakana, I used an app called Kana: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kana-hi... For learning grammar and vocabulary, I LOVED using marumori: https://marumori.io/register?rcode=st... For practice speaking and conversations, I really liked using italki: https://www.italki.com/affshare?ref=a... Disclaimer: I haven't actually taken the REAL JLPT, I was just taking practice tests, so I don't have an official certification or anything! I know for most people it's quite hard to get to N5 level in a month. I'm lucky that in addition to studying for several hours every day, I also took a semester of Japanese in college, so I wasn't starting from complete scratch! And since I know some basic Chinese characters, I also had a head start with kanji.
