In this video, I went to vote in the Japanese General Election. The poverty rate for single-parent households in Japan is about 44.5%. I cast my vote with a silent prayer: "Please make a world where my son can live happily." But reality is harsh. That night, my son suddenly developed a high fever (38.1°C / 100.6°F). As a jobless single mother, I was terrified. "If he gets hospitalized... I can't look for a job." This is the real documentary of a widow's struggle in Japan.
