This was the track that put crusard on the map and a launching point of one of the greatest story track tellers of all time. It was not the first story track or even the first eswc story track but this was one of the most important and memorable ones, but why? There isn't really any need to answer with words, the video shows the incredible creativity and inovation we got used to see by crusard, for me personally it's the layout he managed to acomplish and the freedom he gives to the player to choose his own path that makes this track legendary, even including 2 sneaky shortcuts or bonus objectives that help the player jump from one objective to another without having to return to the HUB area. I'll admit I quite never get the story but I liked the variety of the goals, how well they were applied in the classic infiltrate, acomplish and escape formula, that never gets old. Looking at it as just a track is fine enough, it has some good flow and cool speedy parts but they can be tricky and the 4 sections are diferent enough for variety. It was suposed to be his tm goodbye and thankfully it wasn't, we got the fantastic trump card a month after and 5 more classic eswc and 3 tm united tracks afterwards so his best works were still to come :) Hard to believe this was made almost 20 years ago and still holds up. 0:00 Intro 1:13 Objectives 1:39 Ingame 3:55 Outro 6:19 Mission Fail Strangely there's only one fail condition which is finishing before the goals were acomplished, which is interesting, you would think there was a fail condition for failing the bridge section or any anticut but nope, just one single fail trigger at the end.
