DevDrop 32: Writing a Genesys Cloud Function Locally

This Youtube video is the third in a series about Genesys Cloud Functions. The video focuses on building a Genesys Cloud Function locally. ●The speaker in the video will walk through the process of building a simple customer example Node.js Genesys Cloud Function locally, testing it, and packaging it for deployment. ●The video uses the serverless framework, which simplifies the process of packaging the zip file for deployment and allows testing and execution of the function locally. ●The speaker will explain the structure of a serverless.yaml file and an index.js file. ●The video will also cover how to use the serverless test capability to invoke the function locally and how to package the function for deployment. ●Viewers will learn how to set up the Genesys Cloud UI, permissions, integration, and data action from previous videos in the series. ●Since the product is in beta, there is not currently a UI version to upload the function. The speaker will cover how to upload it using the Genesys Cloud CLI in the next video.
