On the first episode of My Home, we stepped inside designer Abigail Ahern's moody-hued east London townhouse. The interiors taste-maker’s Dalston home is a daringly dark adventure in textures and feels other-wordly. Tucked away from the bustle of Dalston, it boasts a full-height, rear extension punctuated with a Crittall window that’s eight metres high. The walls, ceilings and floors throughout are boldly wrapped in sludgy yet cocooning shades of brown, and accessorised with oversized ceramics and vessels bursting with textural arrangements (all faux, of course).
