Hey and welcome back to my Channel! This video is my experience growing up deaf, heard of hearing and struggling to hear. I have a genetic bilateral hearing loss (in essence I'm partially deaf in both ears). I was told that I was deaf when I was 11 years old and was given hearing aids by the NHS to help, but I hated them and was picked on in school for being deaf, so I didn't wear them. This video hopefully will try and break down the stigma of young people being deaf, as well as hopefully offering some solutions to those who know someone who is deaf and what you can do to help them not struggle in your presence.
