Class 2 Dental Filling with GC Equia Forte HT - All Steps EXPLAINED

A dental class 2 filling is a type of dental restoration used to repair cavities that appear both on the occlusal and interproximal areas of the tooth. The procedure involves removing the decayed or damaged portion of the tooth and then filling the area with the chosen material. The filling is then shaped and polished to match the contours of the surrounding teeth, restoring the tooth's function and appearance. The goal of a class 2 filling is to provide a long-lasting solution to a dental problem while preserving as much of the natural tooth structure as possible. For this demonstration I am using a glassionomer cement (GIC) - GC Equia Forte HT. I am explaining every step of the process as well as the dental equipment you need to place this obturation. Equia For the HT is recommended for non-stress bearing Class II restorations, obviously not all class 2 cases.
