The last page features an author profile about James Fenimore Cooper. The price on the cover says 25¢. James Fenimore Cooper was born on September 15, 1789 in Burlington, NJ. He was one of the first and most well known American writers, writing about colonial times featuring what was originally the "Western Frontier" which is now part of the Eastern United States. He grew up in and later in life lived in Cooperstown, NY, which was founded by his father William Cooper. His most famous and well read books are from the "Leatherstocking Tales" featuring Natty Bumppo (a.k.a Hawkeye, Leatherstocking, Pathfinder, Deerslayer, La Longue Carabine), Chingachgook, and Uncas (son of Chingachgook). #comics #comic #comicbooks #books #bookflipthrough #classicsillustrated #thelastofthemohicans #jamesfenimorecooper #antique
